White Paper exposes Kerala’s Rs 5.07 lakh crore debt crisis
The White Paper on Kerala's Finances titled "Kerala's Fiscal Health: A Status Report" has officially revealed that the state's total public debt has escalated to Rs 5.07 lakh crore.
In a social media post, he said the people of Bihar supported the BJP and the NDA, and rejected the jungle raj politics of the Congress and the RJD, which is characterized by dynasty rule and corruption.

BJP Kerala president Rajiv Chandrasekhar on Friday said the massive and historic victory of BJP-led NDA in Bihar, reflects the support given by the people for the politics of performance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a social media post, he said the people of Bihar supported the BJP and the NDA, and rejected the jungle raj politics of the Congress and the RJD, which is characterized by dynasty rule and corruption.

“Now it is Kerala’s turn,” he said in a Facebook post.

“Congratulations to the people of Bihar for once again supporting the politics of performance being put forward by the BJP and NDA under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. Congratulations also for rejecting the jungle raj politics of the Congress and RJD, which are characterized by dynasty rule and corruption,” the BJP Kerala chief said.
The BJP workers celebrated the massive victory of the party and the NDA in the Bihar assembly elections across Kerala on Friday.
Celebrations were organized at the state headquarters and district offices. At the party headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram, BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar distributed sweets to leaders and workers assembled there. He said that a similar feat should be achieved in the upcoming local body and assembly elections in Kerala
Former BJP state president K Surendran said Kerala could learn from the Bihar verdict, where people rejected “jungle raj” of the dynasts. The Bihar result can be used as a model in Kerala as well, he said.
Reacting to the Bihar poll results, senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that the party has a responsibility to study the reasons for the defeat and should examine where it went wrong. Those who were directly involved in the campaign should explain the reasons, Shashi Tharoor said. He added that he was not invited to the campaign.
Regarding the assistance given to the women voters just before the elections, Tharoor said state governments providing such assistance is not new. Governments cannot be stopped from doing so, he added.
Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala said that it was not the NDA that won in Bihar but the Election Commission.
Stating that democracy is in danger in India, Chennithala said that what happened in Maharashtra and Haryana has been repeated in Bihar. All parties should think about it, he added.
